The Armory

The Armory STL stands as the newest and largest entertainment venue in St. Louis. This remarkable space was brought to life through the collaboration of ODA studio and HDA Architects, for Green Street REV and Brick + Bev, to transform the historic Missouri National Guard Armory in Midtown St. Louis into a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination.

Originally built in 1938 to house the 138th Infantry of the Missouri National Guard, the building later hosted various indoor sports leagues and rock concerts. After sitting vacant and falling into disrepair since the 1990s, the property was purchased in 2016 by Green Street Real Estate Ventures. Their vision was to revitalize this historic structure as a premier entertainment venue destination, now known as the Armory STL.

In homage to the 138th Infantry, ODA studio and HDA Architects developed a master plan that preserves the Armory’s historic façade while integrating modern amenities to create an unparalleled entertainment experience.

The Armory STL represents a $60 million investment with three levels of entertainment spanning more than 90,000 square feet. In its inaugural year, the venue welcomed over 1.8 million visitors and generated more than 400 new jobs in the St. Louis Midtown area.
